Filter Pocket

Each mask has a filter pocket. You can order filters online or use paper towels, paper napkins or coffee filters for extra protection . Cut them to the approximate shape of your mask and insert using one of the pockets on either side. Replace often.

Care Instructions

Wash your mask after every few uses. Machine or hand wash with cool or warm water. Tumble dry on low or hang dry (all fabric has been pre-shrunk). Elastic can melt, so use caution in a very hot dryer or when ironing. Please note that the pleated masks won’t look the same after washing, as they’ve been ironed. You can carefully iron them if you wish to maintain the pleat lines.

Fit Notes

Adjustable

Tie the elastic knot at the appropriate length to fit your face. Once the the knot is tied and feels comfortable, slide the elastic around so the knot is inside the casing. If it elastic comes out of the casing, attach the end of the elastic to a safety pin and thread it through the casing to hold it in place.

Pleated

If your mask is slightly too large, you can tie a small loop knot in the elastic on one side, close to the mask so the knot doesn’t sit behind your ear. Should you find your mask too tight, it will stretch some with use.
